Busy Dermatology practice is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant for dermatology surgery (MOHS surgery). The successful applicant will be expected to learn to cut tissue for frozen tissue sections for MOHS surgery (no experience necessary), room patients, vital signs, patient histories, sterilize instruments, assist the physician during surgery, and provide wound care to patient. They will also be expected to chart in our electronic medical records and be a scriber for the dermatologist. Clinic hours are involves working Monday-Friday 8 am-5pm . Experience preferred and experience with electronic medical records preferred. Also, the successful applicant must be detailed oriented and have good communication with patients and staff.
