Front Office/Medical Assistant-Fort Worth Location

In this role, you have day-to-day contact with patients, managers and employees from our various departments. You are a vital part of the team to ensure the clinic and business office runs smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Ability to work an 8-hour shift (8am -5pm) and some holidays
• Greet and receive patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Insure patient data is accurate and current by reviewing it with the patient
• Communicate with other departments as required regarding patient accounts/concerns/questions
• Answer phones and direct call traffic as required
• High level of professionalism and maturity
• Ability to multitask
• Certified Medical Assistant in and for the State of Texas
• Experience with all duties within the scope of a Certified Medical Assistant (procedures, injections, phlebotomy, lab work, prescription refills)
• Rooming patients, taking vitals and history
• Recording patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and timely
• Coordinating patient care as directed by physicians
• Organizing exam and treatment rooms, stocking and cleaning rooms and sterilizing instruments
• Bilingual preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
