Warren Fastenings South is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Warren Fastenings is the Lowcountry’s premier Distributor for all things Fastener-related including, but not limited to, Construction, MRO and Industrial Supplies! We are expanding our Inside Sales Team whose main functions are to assist our Outside Salesmen as well as new account development. Experience selling to the industries we serve is most helpful along with a proven track record of success. We are willing to train and invest in the right TEAMMATE who demonstrates having: excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, good computer skills, a stable work history, and wants to be a TEAM PLAYER to help grow our business!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue including quotations, placing orders, checking stock, pricing, and assisting in problem resolution
  • Generate new and repeat sales by educating customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for processing payments when necessary
  • Responsible for customer follow-up
  • Developing leads and referrals
  • Create personal marketing plan
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items
  • Timely and accurate data entry of sales quotes and sales orders into the ERP system
  • Sell based on company value proposition by identifying key growth opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School education or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related wholesale distribution business preferred
  • Proven track record of success on the field
  • Good computer skills
  • Stable work history
  • Must be self-motivated, including high attention to detail with ability to focus and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required
  • Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products to a wide range of customers both in-person and by phone
  • Must be able to work positively within a team environment
  • Ability to establish rapport and generate sales
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions with minimal assistance
  • Eager to learn and help grow our business
