Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Laser Tracker Operator to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Ensure that manufactured and purchased parts conform to engineering specifications and drawings utilizing a Laser Tracker or CMM
• Mark up manufactured parts for finish machining operations as required by the manufacturing routing
• Implement subassembly personnel with inspection data when adjustments are required to meet final accuracy requirements
• Verify that subassemblies meet the accuracy requirements specified by engineering specifications and drawings
• Design inspection reports from gathered data and process Defective Work Tickets

Qualifications

• 1 years experience operating Laser Tracker (API/Verisurf)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with customers, peers, and subordinates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating CMM machine
• Experience with fixtures
• Quality experience preferred
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense is a plus
• Taurus CMM experience
• White Light Scanning experience is a plus
• PC-DMIS, EZ-DMIS, or SPUD software experience is a plus
