Responsibilities
- Report to Waltonen IT Manager
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues for desktops, laptops, workstations, and peripherals
- Perform memory upgrades, install drives, and troubleshoot hardware failures
- Provide basic software support, including installing and configuring operating systems, software applications, and drivers
- Assist users with software-related inquiries and issues
- Collaborate with the IT team to diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues
- Assist in setting up and maintaining network equipment
- Respond promptly to help desk tickets submitted by end-users
- Document solutions and resolutions for future reference
- Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Familiarity with hardware components (CPU, RAM, hard drives, etc.) and their functions
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Must be willing to work overtime hours as needed to address critical issues or complete projects
- Only United States citizens can be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as A or Microsoft MC are a bonus
