JOB OPENING – Warehouse Associate in Kansas City
Walsh Door & Security is seeking a Full-time Warehouse Team Member at our Kansas City location. We specialize in
commercial doors, frames, hardware, cameras, and access control systems for projects throughout Iowa and the
surrounding states. If you have a desire to work for a 155 year old Midwest-based company and enjoy working in a fast-
paced environment, this is a great opportunity! Walsh Door & Security is a growing company with 140 employees and
three locations – Des Moines, Iowa City and Kansas City. This opportunity is a full-time, added position.
Job Description:
• Load and unload commercial doors, frames, and hardware for deliveries by hand and/or forklift.
- Secure loads with applicable strapping and packaging materials.
- Check loads and deliveries for accuracy against shipping tickets.
- Clean and organize warehouse.
- Receive material and put material in proper location.
- 40 hours per week, typically between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. Hours
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.
- Must pass pre-employment physical fit test, drug screen, and background check.
- Must drive in a safe and efficient manner to limit risk exposures.
- Must be able to safely lift and move large doors and door frames. This includes sitting, standing, walking,
- Ability to safely lift up to 120 pounds.
- Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision.
