Description

As the Warehouse Lead you will be responsible to manage all phases of tire warehousing and distribution to ensure the efficient receipt, storage and distribution of tires.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop all warehouse and transportation work schedules, and ensure that all warehousing operations are carried out in an efficient manner
• Maintain adequate communication with the wholesale manager and common carriers to coordinate schedules for inbound and outbound merchandise
• Communicate with store managers to ensure product is delivered 
• Motivate and lead warehouse staff by instilling a sense of teamwork to effectively carry out tasks
• Assist in hiring and training of new warehouse employees
• Maintain tire distribution equipment to ensure that it is in working order
• Conduct physical counts of product and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing and implementing the proper warehouse safety procedures
