Walker's Bluff Casino Resort is Hiring a Baker Near Carterville, IL

· Must be able to operate machines and equipment such as mixer, slicer, ovens, etc.

· Ability to maintain and keep your work surface and equipment clean and sanitary

· Follow safety procedure to avoid burns and other injuries when working with equipment

· Follow proper instructions for recipes and be able to mix, measure, and combine ingredients accurately for each recipe and checking the overall quality throughout the baking process

· Must be able to inspect food products to make sure raw materials are set to high standards of quality

· Establish production quota of goods for each day on a day to day bases

· Decorate baked goods by applying icings, toppings, and glazy to achieve a professional appearance

· Properly store baking utensils and supplies

· Order more supplies or notify manager when more ingredients or products need to be ordered

· Be creativity in crafting new pastries and creativity in decoration pastries

· Ability to do all open and closing duties within the bakery

· Ensure customer satisfaction through baking delicious bakery productions

· Report any maintenance issues or defective equipment to management immediately

· Assure an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments.

· Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests.

· Support current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior.

· Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment.

· Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
