Wal Low Carbon Technology is Hiring a Technical Sales Specialist Near Livonia, MI

Job Summary:

Inspired by the exciting new challenges associated with the low carbon transportation revolution, WAL Low Carbon Technology North America anticipates the future of mobility developing cutting-edge solutions for sustainable mobility.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical expertise to the truck and trailer clients in North America. You will collaborate with the other teams in our company to identify customer needs and develop solutions that align with their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer relationship management:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Driving sales growth in assigned categories by developing and executing targeted campaigns
  • Creating accurate and effective marketing plans and proposals
  • Collaborating with domestic and international teams to craft winning solutions for customers
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and effectively
  • Conducting regular follow-ups to ensure customer needs are met and addressing any concerns.
  • Contributing to the sales team effort by sharing intelligence, attending meetings, and help foster a positive team attitude
  • Collecting payment or owed balances from customers

Parts distribution and sales:

  • Managing the inventory of parts and ensuring availability for sales and service.
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and compatibility.
  • Processing parts orders and maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.

On-site service and support:

  • Traveling to customer locations for supporting installation, repair, or maintenance of automotive equipment.

Desired Skills and Background

  • Knowledge of the commercial truck, trailer and aftermarket industry sales and service processes
  • 5 years of technical sales experiences
  • Ability to read and understand product drawings
  • Experience with selling products and solutions to institutional and commercial customers
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with key decision-makers in customers
  • Excellent time management capabilities
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of automotive codes and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively to customer locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
