Qualifications: High School diploma or higher education is required with a minimum 5 years manufacturing experience, preferably in industrial panel building. This position requires the individual to decipher wiring drawings and schematics, follow work instructions, and have excellent oral communications skills. The ability to lift fifty pounds is also essential. Position Description:The Panel Shop Team Leader is responsible for leading a wide range of activities including assembly of panels, monitoring daily assignments and work orders, as well as reporting updates and issues to the appropriate team. This position will utilize strong verbal communication skills to collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality, and design as necessary. The Team Leader position will also train new personnel on processes and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities Participate in the building, wiring, soldering, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of custom electronic panels, components, equipment, and systems on most or all varieties of products. Responsible for reporting Panel Shop status with regards to work orders and due dates. Make recommendations to the manager regarding hours/overtime allocation to ensure department stays current. Assist Manager with personnel allocation related to the Panel Shop and Solutions production areaResponsible for ensuring the department builds custom modular builds and modular assemblies meet the required specifications and quality assurance goals.Track levels of manufacturing supplies, such as chemicals, labels, bags etc. and reporting low levels to the manager.Train new and temp employees on procedures and work practices.Ensure all department personnel understand the ISO Quality Manual, how to access it, and how to properly utilize it.Responsible for keeping the production area clean and safe.Comply with WAGO Corporation’s and OSHA safety policies.Coordinate with production team to identify unique tools and materials needed to perform required tasks.Perform panel and enclosure modifications using power and hand tools as necessary.Collaborate with engineering or others to identify, define, or anticipate and solve developing problems. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee.
