WAGO Corporation is seeking an individual to serve in the role of Business and Key Account Development: Automotive, responsible for developing new business and new relationships with key accounts and selected target accounts. This individual will be responsible for revenue growth, analytics, forecasting, communications, and WAGO brand presence. The ideal candidate will have domain knowledge and customer relationships with automotive key accounts, OEM’s, and their sub-suppliers.Experience & Qualifications:Four year technical degree and/or equivalent industry experience requiredExperience in the sale of electrical connectors, electronics, and automation productsKnowledge of automotive industry, and automotive key accounts, sub-suppliers, OEM’s and their requirementsExperience in national or international sales with a technically oriented company in the electrical industryStrong communications skills and experience working with cross-functional teamsStrong understanding of the sales process and strategic selling methodologySales experience in delivering technical value through domain excellenceMust demonstrate ability to manage varied tasks and possess excellent organizational, computer, oral, and written communication skills Competence in MS Office application programsResponsibilities: Intensive support of defined key clients with the automotive marketsBuilding long term relationships with decision makers at key customersProduct and applications support of key customers and their sub-suppliersDevelops account strategy and executes tactical plan to drive sales growthPrepares and analyzes sales data with related metrics to evaluate and refine strategies/tacticsIdentification and structured monitoring/support of strategic key customers projects and applicationsWAGO internal coordination and integration of various divisions to support key account successCoordination and negotiation of long term supply contractsFamiliarity with standards and guidelines of automotive industryIdentify working groups, industry events and actively participate to develop relationships, gather market trends/dataCollaborate with and contribute to marketing team with market communications for online, print, trade shows, conferences, and references in the focused industriesResponsible for gathering customer/market data and recognizing trends to support product management for prioritizing potential products and applications to meet customer current & future needs. Engaged in new product processCommunicate and co-ordinate with global industry management team to support key accounts and sub-suppliers cultivating both North American and global growth with key accounts and focused industriesAdditional Responsibilities:Must be able to travel via airplaneMust have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a timeMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Travel estimate 50%.
