Summary
The sales representative role at Vulcan GMS is critical to growth in the medical, security, and lead cabinet markets. This role will utilize resources for new market discovery, while developing new business for Vulcan's growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learn Vulcan's highly customized manufacturing capabilities.
Design and execute customer growth plan for designated prospects and customers, using Discovery process to Qualify, identify, and close new accounts and sales opportunities.
Develop and manage strategic relationships with all customers.
Develop social media material to educate and train customers around industry trends and Vulcan GMSs capabilities.
Achieve assigned performance metrics activity and results.
Be a collaborative Vulcan GMS team member.
Deliver proposals / price quotes while working with CX and Estimating teams.
Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape.
Follow Vulcan GMS policies, processes, and procedures.
Be dedicated to personal career development continue training and education.
Develop account sales budgets and penetration plans with Director of Sales.
Work with Account Managers and other team members to maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels.
Prepare for sales meetings and 1 : 1 with Director of Sales
Populate CRM system with all sales and opportunity activity.
Travel as needed.
Education and / or Experience
Minimum of 5 years of total sales experience in highly technical or customizable manufactured product, where prospecting and Discovery is a critical success factor.
Completed a reputable B2B sales training program is desirable.
Consistently ranked in the top-half of the sales team.
Experience in following a documented consultative selling process.
A college degree in a business curriculum or engineering discipline is desirable.
Skills
Proficient in using Microsoft office suites (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point, etc.)
Proficient in blueprint reading

Demonstrated proficiency in identifying stated and unstated manufacturing issues a problem solver.
Proven ability to assimilate new information quickly.
Proven ability to think out-of-the box in working with a customer in designing alternative manufactured part solutions.
