Vui Ve is looking for one crew member to join our Front of House team in DTLA. We are located on 319 E 2nd St #205, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter and hardworking who loves seeing how their creations affect customers; check us out on Instagram @vuive.eats!

*** Position is available for part-time weekdays. Schedule is done quarterly, routined weekly and does not change.***

*** Experience preferred but not required. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, a self-starter, and hard-worker.***

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take orders from customers
• Answer questions about menu items, food sensitivities, and food substitutions
• Give customers suggestions for food and drinks and tell them about any special menu items
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any complaints
• Process customer payments
• Provide welcoming phone greeting and following Guest ordering procedures
• Serve beverages and deliver food to customers, including accompaniments and condiments from service bars
• Remove dirty dishes from tables to avoid clutter while customers are eating
• Clean tables and chairs after customers have finished their meals
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
• Protect establishment and customers by adhering to sanitation, safety, and health control policies
• Keep kitchen staff informed by noting the timing of meal progression
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform basic tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Fill in for absent staff as needed
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in customer service industry preferred but not required
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Able to multitask efficiently
• Strong organizational skills
