Vermont State University’s Johnson campus, a member of the NCAA Division III, invites applications for the graduate assistant position in Track & Field. 

The primary responsibility of Team GA’s will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting, and monitoring of student athlete academic progress.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree is required, acceptance into graduate school at Vermont State University, previous participation and/or coaching experience are preferred. These positions include tuition remission, room, and an hourly wage.
It is expected that each graduate student maintains a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and shows satisfactory progress toward a degree with completion in two years.

Additional Information:

As long as you are employed as a Graduate Assistant by Vermont State University, tuition remission (for up to 9 credits per semester or up to 18 total credits per academic year), activity fees, and room at Vermont State University within the contract year are included with your contract, but no other fringe benefits. Any course-specific fees are the responsibility of the Graduate Assistant.
