JOB DESCRIPTION

Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Technician in El Cajon Ca.

As a Manufacturing Technician you will :

• Use traveler instructions, procedures, drawings, or verbal guidance to carry out production tasks .
• Operate production lines or various machines, overseeing and monitoring machine output.
• Work in an assembly line manner, performing step by step procedures.
• Perform tasks such as grinding, sanding, deburring, and straightening of parts to specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of records and logs.
• May monitor technical equipment or do practical work.
• Assess quality of product output and identify flaws.
• Move material throughout the work area.
• Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
• Consistently exhibits punctuality, follows supervisor instructions, collaborates effectively with colleagues, adheres to work rules and procedures, complies with company policies and goals, and is open to constructive feedback.
• Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.

This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity,.

The ideal candidate will have : .

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
• 6 months manufacturing experience or equivalent of education and experience.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of hand tools and equipment used in production.

Schedule : Monday to Friday 2nd shift - 1pm - 930pm

Pay : $19 Shift Differential

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
