French Prairie Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and dependable HR/Payroll Coordinator.

As our HR Coordinator, you would oversee all Human Resources (HR) and payroll functions within the facility, including but not limited to employee relations and payroll on behalf of the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all aspects of recruiting, hiring, and orienting new employees on behalf of the facility.
  • Oversees all aspects of payroll including entering new employees into the payroll system, disbursement of employee checks, and ensuring all employee info is up to date.
  • Oversees unemployment insurance claims for the facility.
  • Oversees employee benefits at the facility level.
  • Facilitates and ensures that AP is processed and accurate.
  • Works with outside vendors on accuracy of charges.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years HR/Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of payroll systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in long-term healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other staff.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.
