Description
Volante Farms in Needham, MA is a place for all seasons. As a fourth-generation family run farm, farm stand, and garden center Volante Farms has over one hundred years in the community. In 2012, the farm stand was remodeled adding two kitchens, a deli, bakery, and an ice cream stand/coffee bar.
We are looking for a Catering Supervisor to join our growing team in our Production Kitchen! Our goal is to make great food using great ingredients, focusing on scratch cooking, and using our homegrown produce.
The Catering Supervisor will:
- Follow packaging guidelines set by Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef.
- Ensure product is labeled correctly and priced according to standard.
- Assists in food prep
- Manages caterings orders through phone, email, and walk-in
The Catering and Kitchen Operations Supervisor will be offered benefits if full time, including 401K, profit sharing, competitive wages, paid time off, and employee discounts.
Requirements
- Safe food handling
- Ability to frequently lift up to 80lbs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior food handling experience
- Prior supervisory experience
