Summer Sales Representative Job Description:

As a Vivint Summer Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for going door to door, promoting and selling Vivint's innovative products and services to potential customers. Sales Representatives are vital in helping homeowners understand the importance of Home Automation & Security while proactively earning their business. Own the sales process from start to finish with the support of the best Customer Service, Operations and Installation teams in the industry.

As a Summer Sales Representative, you will deploy to work during the summer months with a well established, professional sales team. Vivint will help you with travel and room and board. First year Sales Representatives, on average, earn $25,000-$35,000 during the summer. We have Sales Representatives that only want work during the summer so they can allocate their time and resources to other projects or career opportunities, which we love! But we also have many that continue to work after summer where they earn between $60,000-$80,000 for their 1st year with an upside of $150,000 for our top performing rookies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to make great first impressions and a desire to help people.
• Ability to travel 1-4 months during the summer
• You must be able to think quickly on your feet and identify solutions you learned in training to help solve customer problems.
• Professional approach with in-home presentations and proposals.
• A strong hunger to achieve goals.
• Desire to educate homeowners on the positive effects of Home Automation & Security.
• Ability to relocate.

Job Requirements:

• Sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Customer Support experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel and relocate during the summer months.
• Must be honest and empathetic to the needs of customers.

Compensation:

• Commission only that is based on performance.
• Uncapped commission structure.
• Average full-time $60,000-$80,000 yearly, with an upside of $150,000
