JOB DESCRIPTION:

Vivaticket, a global industry leader in admission solutions for concert venues, sporting arenas, amusement parks, cultural attractions and much more in locations all around the world is seeking talented individuals for the role of Technical Project Manager to manage the implementation and project management of our ticketing solutions to our broad customer base.

The Technical Project Manager ensures deployments of new installations or upgrades are planned and carried out on time and in budget. They are responsible for coordinating the internal resources assigned to a project and being the customer's primary point of contact. Once the customer has gone live, the Technical Project Manager will continue to be the point of contact for Support escalations and/or additional services. The Technical Project Manager will hold regular check-ins with the customer to see how they are doing and to promote any new features they may be interested in.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Establish and build a strong working relationship with customer

· Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects

· Understand customer’s contract to ensure both parties are adhering to it

· Collaborate with various teams to validate all software processes, and/or software/hardware installation

· Provide status reports on regular basis to Manager and Client

· Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines

· Plan accordingly to ensure all teams are aligned with project timeline to meet delivery dates

· Execute on internal SQL & IS training with internal colleagues based on client use cases

· Provide Tier 2 support for managing clients which includes but not limited to, implementation, analysis, and execution

· Primary liaison between the business and the clients ensuring client needs are met

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

· Oversee end-to-end execution of technical projects for ticketing system.

· Collaborate with software developers, database administrators, cloud specialists, etc.

· Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science

· Minimum 2 years' experience (Technical Project Manager – software)

· Strong command of SoapUI, SQL, Balsamiq Wireframes, Microsoft Projects, Confluence, SharePoint.

· Experience working in a main entrance / box office or retail environment of the leisure or culture industry

· Must have experience of working within a technical group

· Excellent communication and listening skills

· Good organizational skills used in planning own work

· Calm and professional disposition

· Self-motivated and ability to work independently

· Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines

· Effectively manage changing priorities and adjust based upon severity or deadlines

· Able to manage multiple projects at a time

· Willingness to accept responsibility

· Customer service experience a plus

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years’ experience in technical project management - software.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present information to a wide range of audiences; end users, technical staff, vendors, department management, and senior management.
