The Houston Analyst team, comprised of 5 individuals, is part of a global team of 20 high-achieving credit specialists from the banking sector and the energy industry. Houston Credit Analysts are responsible for the assessment and management of Vitol’s credit risk with counterparties located in the Americas, in tight coordination with the credit teams based in London and Singapore. Credit Analysts support the different matrices - crude oil and products, power and gas, LNG, renewables, for an assigned portfolio of counterparties and projects, working closely with trading, legal, compliance and other finance functions. The role is a critical enabler and promoter of business activity and calls for the right mix of credit expertise and commercial thinking. Flat team structure allows access to all management levels deemed necessary to ensure sound and complete judgment over credit risk.
