Vision Computer Solutions is searching for our next Service Desk Engineer. To make the cut you have to be passionate about providing our clients white-glove service at every interaction. Role and Responsibilities:

All positions on our team require drive and determination to help us support our client base. Our next Service Desk Engineer will be responsible for assisting with:

  • Improving users’ computing experiences through effecting remote monitoring
  • Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies and maintenance processes. This piece of the position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective utilization of provided resources, and excellent customer service.
  • Act as the first line of support, as the main point of contact to clients to solve their technical issues. Ensure all issues are documented, ticket statuses are kept current, and customer expectations met.
  • Provide IT support for Microsoft's core business applications, customer line of business applications, server operating systems, and network-level support.
  • Collaborate and work with other staff and vendor support resources
  • Overall relationship management and the ability to utilize resources to respond to complex IT requirements
  • The ability to help the team maintain, troubleshoot and support networks, equipment, software and services
  • Troubleshooting network equipment and service-related problems with remote control technologies

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Technical support experience (MSP experience is a plus)
  • Microsoft 365/Azure Management
  • Management and troubleshooting in: Active Directory; DHCP; DNS; Group Policy; Windows 10/11; Server 2016/2019/2022; SharePoint/OneDrive
  • Documentation and writing capabilities (a good way to show this would be your cover letter)
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and vendors
  • Passion for teamwork, problem solving, and exceptional customer service
  • Must be well-spoken, organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Reliable transportation (this position requires you to be at our Northville, MI office from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday - Friday)

Additional Notes: Any mix of Microsoft, PMI, Connectwise, VMWare, Dell, and SonicWall certifications are considered a MAJOR plus. Please, when submitting resumes and cover letters, consider the above questions and qualifications and tailor said documents to demonstrate these qualities.
