FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Starting Wage: $20 per hour

Position Status: Part Time (up to 400 hours per year)
Effective Date: Beginning July 2023 and ending on or before June 30, 2024,

As a national non-profit organization and a leader in the field of community health, Visión y
Compromiso seeks a part-time Promotor Comunitario to be responsible for conducting
outreach and educational groups utilizing the Family Friends and Neighbors curriculum.

A preferred candidate will have a minimum of one (1) year of community-based direct service
experience with under-resourced communities or communities of color and a minimum of one
(1) year of experience conducting outreach and providing community health education. A
bilingual candidate in English and Spanish is highly desired. Must have flexible hours and
availability including weeknights, weekends and holidays as needed. Must have the ability to
travel locally within the assigned region.
