Title: Promotor Comunitario (RCLC1)
Starting Wage: $22.50 per hour
Reports to: Regional Program Manager
Location: Coachella Valley
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Status: Temporary, Full Time (up to 40 hrs. per week)
Effective Date: April 2024 ending on or before June 30, 2024

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Promotor Comunitario will conduct outreach and educational
activities to build relationships with the Latino community in the Coachella Valley and promote local services to reduce
stigma associated with mental health issues, reduce access barriers, increase service utilization, and navigate people to
behavioral and mental health services they can trust.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize a reliable alternative method of transportation when needed to
carry out job-related essential functions. Valid automobile liability insurance.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, groups, and the public. A bilingual
candidate in Spanish and English is highly desired. Proficiency in leading and facilitating engaging discussions to raise
awareness on a variety of health topics with individuals and groups.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient computer skills for the purpose of data entry during enrollment events, sending and receiving email, calendar
scheduling, and virtual meeting attendance. Comfortable using and learning new technology. Proficiency with Microsoft
Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel locally within the assigned region as required.
