VCS is looking for Park Customer Service Representative for one of our Client at Cedar Creek, TX. Earn Gift Cards up to $250 every Month.
Pay Rate: $16/Hour
Attendance/Performance Appreciation: Up to $250/Month as Gift Cards (Non-Taxable)
Shift: 8AM to 5PM (Monday - Friday)
- Weekly: 40 hours
- Work hours are vary, include weekends, evenings and holiday.
Contract: 2 years with possible extension
Start Date - ASAP
Minimum Qualifications and requirement:
- Zero or more years of experience in providing customer service and operation of an electronic.
- Point-Of-Sale System, preferably in a park or hotel setting.
- Driver's license
Overview:

- At an entry level, provides customer service to park visitors.
- Answers phone, greets park visitors, acts as cashier and provides information to visitors on park operations and facility rentals.
- Works effectively with contract employees, park hosts and volunteers.
- Collects, counts and prepares cash and check deposits.
- This position develops competence by performing structured work assignments and receives instruction, guidance and direction from supervisor, manager, team lead/experienced colleagues.
- Obtains information on customer reservations from Reserve America reservations center.
- Provides park information and acts as park cashier.
- Sells merchandise, rents cabins and canoes and collects day use fees (including curbside service at front entrance office).
- Provides tours of facilities available for rent to potential customers as requested.
- Updates special event calendar to ensure proper staffing for events at parks.
- Answers the park phone for specific location/park line two to three days per week.
- Prepares cash and checks received for deposit to the bank.
- May enter equipment and vehicle mileage in Maximo tracking system.
- Counts inventory and orders cleaning, office and park store supplies within approved supply management policies and procedures.
- Maintains district electronic or hard copy files, invoices and records for park use while ensuring compliance with the records retention policy.
- Performs work by traveling independently to various locations as needed.
- May perform light custodial work, special event setup, park gardening and landscaping/assigned administrative special projects.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of deposit and statement reconciliation methods.
- Verbal and written communication.
- Calculating correct change for cash transactions.
- Providing customer service Intermediate skill level in office productivity applications(such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc).
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision and build relationships and foster teamwork/balance and manage competing high priority work demands Work Environment.
Physical Demands:
- Work involves frequent finger/hand manipulation in using a keyboard and mouse.
- Involves standing/walking in an outdoor environment/over uneven surfaces Lifts/carries/Pushes/pull up to 30 pounds less than 20 percent of the time.
Work Environment:
Work hours are primarily spent in a park office environment, park facility/outdoor environment/exposure to natural hazards such as fire ants, snakes, wasps and other stinging insects and other wildlife, Some work is confined to a particular work space which requires relief to leave.
