As a General Dentist at Virden Dental Care, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive dental care to our patients. Working alongside a well-established team of dental professionals, you will diagnose and treat various dental conditions, educate patients on oral health practices, and promote preventive care to enhance overall wellness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dental examinations to assess oral health and identify any dental issues.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and provide recommendations for treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all treatments and procedures performed.
  • Collaborate closely with our dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff to deliver coordinated and efficient patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development.

Experience Requirements:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid Illinois state dental license and current CPR certification.
  • Proven experience working as a General Dentist in a dental practice setting. (Recent graduates will be considered.)
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards of practice.
