Position Overview:

Viral Nation is seeking an experienced Copywriter to craft concise, purposeful content that inspires action. Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and compelling copy for social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
• Develop a deep understanding of brands’ voice, tone, and messaging guidelines to ensure consistency across all social media channels.
• Collaborate to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for social media campaigns and initiatives.
• Write clear, concise, and error-free copy that effectively communicates key messages, promotes brand awareness, and drives engagement.
• Optimize copy for social media platforms, considering character limits, hashtags, and other platform-specific features to maximize reach and visibility.
• Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, and other team members to create visually appealing and cohesive social media content.
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of copy and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging trends to continuously improve content performance.
• Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality copy.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance social media copywriting skills and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Three to five years’ copywriting experience in an agency or in-house brand
• Impeccable spelling, grammar and editing skills 
• Experience with social media marketing tactics across organic, paid, earned and owned channels
• Able to accept feedback with grace
• Able to interpret data from marketing campaigns to create compelling messaging
• Detail-oriented and hyper-efficient with time management
• Adhere to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all social media copywriting activities.
