Top Gun Staffing Group LLC has partnered with a well-respected podiatry practice in Haverhill, MA in search of an Administrative Assistant on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate is a friendly, outgoing member of the team who has a positive infectious personality. The qualified candidate must bring a level of excellence, medical knowledge, and compassion while delivering a level of professionalism that promotes confidence in the experience from the initial patient call through the end of every office visit.
Responsibilities of this fast-paced medical office include greeting and attending to patients (and family members) in-person and over the phone, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing the check-in and check-out process for patient visits, and liaising with external parties with discretion and professionalism. All duties must be performed within HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1-year medical office experience, knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures and skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite and EMR Systems. BLS Certification is preferred. The role is currently scheduled for a 32-hour work week but requires flexibility based on the needs of the practice.
