- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, as well as shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
- Notify managers regarding minor or major repairs or additions needed for building operating systems.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.
- Clean building floors using appropriate methods and equipment to prevent damage.
- Dust and wash furniture, walls, machines, equipment, ceilings, and light fixtures.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or using hand trucks.
- Remove stains from surfaces using cleaning solutions.
- Perform incidental seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, or removing snow.
- Prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as needed.
- Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including spot cleaning treatment.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Wipe and clean food area tabletops, chairs, and equipment.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean interior glass, windows, partitions, and mirrors.
- Apply insecticides and fumigants to prevent infestations.
- Set up and arrange facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Maintain janitor's closet and equipment.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks like locking doors and checking electrical appliance use.
- Drive vehicles, if required, for cleaning work.
- Perform basic repairs as needed.
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must meet all requirements for working in specific environments, including ten-year work history if applicable.
- Customer service experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of similar work experience.
