THE JOB:

Join our team as a Heavy Duty Kitchen Cleaner and take on the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness of designated equipment and areas. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our facility runs smoothly and meets the highest cleanliness standards.

THE STARTING PAY:

$22.71

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Clean ceilings, walls, and other elevated areas, utilizing ladders when necessary.

• Perform deep cleaning of hot holding and cooking equipment such as char broilers, griddles, and deep fryers.

• Wash pots, pans, and utensils using three-compartment sinks or pot machines.

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment including dish machines, ice machines, and refrigerators.

• Handle trash and garbage removal, including potential biohazard clean-up.

• Transport equipment throughout the property as needed.

• Adhere to regulatory and departmental policies, including health and safety standards.

• Utilize large equipment such as ride-on floor scrubbers and power washers.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

• Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.

• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Preferably six months of stewarding or similar experience, with Culinary Training Academy Certification being a plus.

• Experience in a resort setting is preferred.

• Detail-oriented, efficient, and flexible with excellent customer service skills.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, basic kitchen equipment, and inventory tracking.

• Ability to enforce safety guidelines and handle biohazard materials appropriately.
