Village of Villa Park is Hiring a Building Supervisor Near Villa Park, IL
- Greet persons entering facility, determine nature/purpose of visit, and escort them to specific destination.
- Answer telephone, screen, and forward calls, provide information and take messages.
- Hear and resolve complaints from customers and the public.
- Communicate with registered participants when necessary.
- Assist with room set-up for programs/meetings.
- Unlock classroom doors as needed.
- Secure office at the end of shift.
- Complete other duties within the scope and purpose of this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of computers and proficiency in using Windows based software.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Proficiency in use of office-related technology (phone, fax, computer, copier, etc).
- Visual and hearing acuity to perform job-related functions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to talk, reach, grasp, kneel, stoop and bend.
- Ability to spend up to 75% of work time sitting at a computer workstation.
- Ability to perform job-related functions within Department offices and/or facilities.
