Job Summary:
Village Caregiving - Columbus is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Caregiver to join our team in Urbana, Ohio. This is a full-time, individual contributor position in the healthcare/medical field with a competitive salary of $16 to $20 per hour, paid semi-monthly. The Senior Caregiver will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to elderly clients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to elderly clients in accordance with their individualized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication reminders
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
- Monitor and record clients' progress and report to the nursing team or supervisor
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, office staff, and their families to ensure their needs and preferences are met
- Act as an advocate for clients and uphold their rights and dignity at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a caregiver, preferably with seniors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
