Job Summary :

Village Caregiving - Columbus is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Caregiver to join our team in Urbana, Ohio.

This is a full-time, individual contributor position in the healthcare / medical field with a competitive salary of $16 to $20 per hour, paid semi-monthly.

The Senior Caregiver will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to elderly clients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities :

• Provide personalized care and support to elderly clients in accordance with their individualized care plans
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Medication reminders
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
• Monitor and record clients' progress and report to the nursing team or supervisor
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, office staff, and their families to ensure their needs and preferences are met
• Act as an advocate for clients and uphold their rights and dignity at all times

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
