VieMed Healthcare is Hiring a Patient Relations Intern Near Lafayette, LA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls from patients and customers to address inquiries and route to the appropriate person
Maintain accurate records of interactions, comments, and escalate complaints as necessary
Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding patient interactions, data privacy, and compliance standards
Collaborate with the Patient Relations team to troubleshoot problems and escalate issues as necessary to ensure patient satisfaction.
Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and patience in all interactions with customers, maintaining a positive and customer focused attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to listen actively, empathize with customers and build rapport
Basic computer skill and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Smartsheet forms
Ability to work as part of a team
