Victor's Restaurant & Bar is seeking a motivated, energetic and reliable Restaurant and Bar Manager to join our team! This individual needs to be truly passionate about food, spirits and the trending restaurant and bar scene.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar and restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service and managing our team to deliver a high-quality experience for our guests. Restaurant experience is a MUST! Bartending experience is a huge plus and will allow for bartending shifts if desired!

Restaurant Manager Job Duties:

• Recruit, interview, hire and train bar staff
• Interact with customers to develop loyalty and handle customer concerns
• Contribute to creating food & bar menus with management staff
• Ensure staff is following all food control and safety regulations
• Maintain restaurant reservation system
• Execute on site catering events
• Ensure business is profitable by analyzing restaurants, current trends and places for improvement
• Develop new productions or promotions for the restaurant
• Grow sales!
• Help meet or exceed budgeted financial targets
• MUST be familiar/savvy with social media and current trends.
• Maintains operations policies and standard operating procedures
• Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements
• Building relationships with preferred patrons.
• Maintains safe and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining maintenance and general operations of the restaurant.

Restaurant Manager Skills and Qualifications:

• Managers must be versed in running a restaurant/bar, managing employees and ensuring profitability. They need certain skills and experience, which include:
• Great interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to hire, train, manage and schedule staff
• Extensive knowledge of liquor, bar tending and service protocols
• Extensive knowledge of trends and social media
• Alcohol awareness training is recommended.
• Solid organizational skills and facility with budgets, inventories and negotiating prices with vendors
• Great sales skills and talent for developing promotions or new products
