Our Accounting Team is dedicated to supporting our portfolio of three companies. The Accounting Manager will be a well-rounded financial professional, with strong leadership ability and demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, cash management, planning and reporting, presentations, month-end close, general accounting processes and generally accepted accounting principles. The position is responsible overseeing the day to day operating activities of the accounting department. As the lead technician, the position will focus on establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, recording, analyzing, verifying and reporting information, the position the position should aspire to continuously modernize and optimize processes by collaborating with other leaders and teammates. The position will have an emphasis on training and developing teammates for career advancement.

Role and Responsibilities• Supervise the procedures and protocols required for recordkeeping in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank account reconciliation, deposits, and generates associated reports.
• Train and develop the team of Accounts Receivable & Payable staff. Supervises the follow-up and rectification of any late billing, billing issues &/or related issues with government agencies, vendor and customers.
• Led the preparation and submission of the company’s and principal’s annual tax returns, quarterly payroll taxes, 401k reports, used sales tax reports, business property statements and 1099s; ensuring compliance with payment and reporting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, etc.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages of multiple entities for executives
• Revenue cycle management
• Oversee and management bookkeeping/accounting of multiple entities
• Perform financial analyses and lead various projects as require

• Develop, implement and monitor compliance with internal controls in the areas of inventory and cost of goods.
• Maintain and further develop ERP utilization in process such as dashboard reporting applications and tools.
• Other work and projects as assigned
• In a managerial role, collaborate with payroll department to review the accurate and timely processing of periodic payroll, wage garnishment, deductions, special payments and other payroll related processing.

Qualifications and Education Requirements• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant certification (e.g. PA or CPA) is be preferred
• 7 years of work experience in accounting field
• 3 years of proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor with a successful history of leading, directing and inspiring teammates
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial statements
• In-depth understanding of US GAAP and application of accounting principles and regulations
• Awareness of business and technology trends
• Experience in data intense, legal or credit granting environment will be given priority
• Experience in budget and forecasting
• Those with hands on experience with NetSuite will be given priority and ERP will be preferred
• Advance level skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases

• Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
• Able to lift and move up to 20 lbs. pounds occasionally.
• Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week.
