Senior Finance Analyst

As the lead Finance Business Partner for one of our leading online brands, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with the General Manager and key commercial stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business strategies.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Be a champion within Finance for delivering high quality insights, constructively challenge business partners, and drive financial and commercial acumen within the business.
• Lead the business performance reporting and analysis of our products. Deep dive on trends, KPIs and key insights to drive monthly discussions with GMs, Product leads, Marketing and ExCo
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, building the foundation for the Group’s rolling forecasts and 3-5 year plans.
• Build and evaluate on new business proposals that drive top line growth and cost efficiencies within the organisation.
• Be an advocate and SME for the Group’s new planning system by embedding the foundations laid, and drive continuous efficiencies for our planning and reporting processes
• Present and engage with senior stakeholders, including c-suite level leaders across the company.

What you will bring to the role:

• 3 to 5 years experience in a Finance Analyst role or similar
• Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Economics or Finance. CA or CPA certified preferred. 
• Strong Excel, financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience in implementation, maintenance and usage of financial planning software preferred.
• Critical thinker with tenacity for problem solving and willingness to seek information and appropriately challenge the status quo.
• Self-motivated, a team player and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
