Rimland Services is having our annual job fair February 27th - 29th from 10am- 4pm. We will be hosting open interviews for all Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work at our Community Day Services program and in the group home setting. Our community based group homes are located in Des Plaines, Evanston, Highland Park, Lake Zurich, Maywood, Mount Prospect and Morton Grove. Pay

• Base rate: $20.25/hour
• $23.25/hour if certified to administer medication (we can train you if you are not currently certified!)

About the Position
We are hiring DSPs who are professional, energetic, and nurturing. You will provide hands-on support to individuals in their homes as they work on daily activities and long-term goals. This includes activities such as meal preparation, enhancing social skills, providing companionship, community outings, and more.
Location & Schedule
Note: Your shift will not vary and you must be able to work the entire shift, every week.
Location: Evanston, IL
Schedule:

• If Part-Time (34 hours per week):
  • Friday: 11 PM - 9 AM
  • Saturday: 9 PM - 9 AM
  • Sunday: 9 PM - 9 AM
• If Full-Time (40 hours per week):
  • Friday: 11 PM - 9 AM
  • Saturday: 9 PM - 9 AM
  • Sunday: 9 PM - 9 AM
  • A 6-hour shift on the same day each week, usually 4 PM - 10 PM

Requirements
You must meet the following requirements:
Pass:

• A fingerprint criminal background check
• A child abuse and neglect check
• A drug screen.

Provide:

• An original document (no photocopies) showing high school completion or high school equivalency. Examples include: High school diploma, GED certificate, college transcript
• Residency for the past 2 years
• Current & original documents that verify your identity & ability to legally work in the United States
• Two verifiable employment references within the last 3 years
