My client is a Florida based industry leading commercial flooring company. Specializing in providing total tile and flooring solutions to national brands including the restaurant, retail, and hospitality sector.
This position, Chief Executive Officer, will be responsible for providing leadership on all aspects of The Company's operations with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, and profit. This position also encompasses supervisory responsibilities including but not limited to overseeing all operations of the company, employees, independent contractors, and customer relations.
Responsibilities: The CEO is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business, operational oversight, and overall performance.
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Developing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives of company ownership.
• Leading and motivating subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing team of employees.
• Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission of company ownership.
• Making high quality financial management decisions to advance the business and increase profits while oversizing the company’s finances to ensure best financial management practices and compliance with state and federal laws.
• Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and company policies to maintain the company’s legal and business ethics.
• Build trusted and progressive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
• Maintain and further grow a deep knowledge of the markets industry of the company
Requirements and Skills:
• Proven experience as a CEO or other high-level managerial position (preferably within the commercial flooring industry)
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
• Strong communication skills and initiative
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, finance, human resource management, etc.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
