Associate Engineer

• Performs tasks that are well laid out and defined.
• Takes ownership of tasks within your skillset.
• Proactively provides any updates to task progress, risk, and roadblock prior to Project or Standup Meetings.
• Applies a continuous learning mindset, feeding any learnings from work into documentation and Root Cause Analysis efforts.
• Provides detailed and accurate documentation on work performed that can be used by others.
• May be expected to achieve certifications in their area of skillset for Vervint certification needs (partner level required), developing skills in multiple skillsets.
• Delivers tasks within the assigned timeframe, participating in the work within the projects (will require supervision on work).
• May participate in providing input or artifacts in engagement development efforts by higher level engineers or architects.
• Maintains relationships with individual contributors where appropriate.
• May occasionally be invited to provide input or artifacts on best practices within the SME skillset.

• Ability to work on assignments requiring considerable judgement and initiative.
• Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions.
• Desire to expand technical skillset through training, certifications, and/or exposure to a variety of assignments.
• Time managements skills, delivering project tasks on time.
• Ownership mindset with a keen attention to detail, ensuring tasks are performed with excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field OR a combination of education and experience.
• 0-2 years of related experience in the field.
