Versar, Inc. is seeking a Part-time (PT) Project Manager for our Geospatial & Digital Solution Market Sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management and technical expertise within our Government Solution team to support our customers. The candidate will help to devise solutions that best meet customer needs and will lead project teams in implementing those solutions through the entire life cycle. The PT Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining frequent and direct communication with the GDS team and clients, along with developing scope and cost estimates, and resolving impediments efficiently. Project management approaches vary from client to client along with the types of projects the candidate will support.

Responsibilities:

• Develops collaborative relationships and partnerships with customers.
• Responsible for understanding and supporting project specific waterfront infrastructure, airfields, climate constraints, environment and natural resource, facility, and public safety business problems leveraging Versar's digital solutions.
• Prepare presentations and participate in briefings to current and potential customers
• Prepare and update project management plans.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
• Prepare progress reports on a monthly or as-needed basis.
• Upload and maintain all project documents in a Microsoft environment (SharePoint, OneNote, Teams).
• Validate and update project documentation.
• Update resource forecast for assigned projects.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor subconsultants.
• Attend and present at conferences and seminars.

Required Skills:

• Experience leading highly diverse military and civilian organizations providing the full spectrum of infrastructure management.
• Knowledgeable and experienced planner that can assist customers in refining requirements to achieve critical objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience preparing and providing presentations in public and project settings.
• Experience writing technical proposals and project documentation.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Project.
• Demonstrated and verifiable leadership experience.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with team members, customers, and consulting partners from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Ability to translate complex engineering solutions into easily understandable ideas for customers.

Required Experience

• At least 5 years direct work experience in infrastructure management
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field.
• Experience applying risk assessment and mitigation strategies by leveraging skills, experience, and education to build a better, more resilient, and sustainable future for clients that have mission critical waterfront infrastructure, airfields, transportation and logistics, environment and natural resource, facility, and public safety business services.
