- Under general supervision, to follow a schedule in the performance of custodial duties required to maintain assigned rooms, equipment, buildings and adjacent areas in a clean, orderly and secure manner.
- Cleaning and sanitizing office and plant restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures. (Examples include but not limited to cleaning toilets, mirrors, floors, walls, sinks and emptying trash cans and restocking supplies).
- Cleaning and maintaining of the office facilities and break areas using established practices and procedures. (Examples include but not limited to floors, door handles, glass, windows, and trash). Office facilities include upstairs (in the plant) and front offices.
- Cleaning and sanitizing office and plant break areas using established practices and procedures. (Examples include but not limited to wiping surfaces down such as microwaves, vending machines, coffee makers, refrigerator, tables, chairs, countertops, emptying out refrigerator regularly, and trash cans)
- Keeping all cob webs knocked down in above areas.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand labels and instructions, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products.
- Decision making skills.
- Effective verbal communications skills.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
