This position is responsible for controlling the movement of materials from the time of receipt through fulfillment of Sales/Transfer and Work orders to external and internal customers, including 3PL partners in an FDA-regulated environment. Key Performance Indicators for this position include Inventory Accuracy, Work Order Fill Rate, Sales Order Fill Rate, and 1st time Order Quality. Vero anticipates 10-fold sales and operational growth in each of the next 2 years. The ideal candidate for this position will have a history of demonstrated excellence in a scaling a distribution enterprise in a similar environment.

• Collect data and provide routine reporting on departmental metrics, including cost impact of inventory adjustments, inventory accuracy, period-end inventory balances (absolute and relative to forecasted consumption). Identify needed corrective actions in actual achievement are not within defined targets.
• Publish and interpret period-end and ad hoc reporting of inventory levels.
• Assist in development of processes and tolls for inventory transactions, reporting, and the related, efficient data collection.
• Specify and implement ERP, RF scanning, labelling, and related infrastructure, hardware, and systems to automate and otherwise improve Material Control Functions, including inventory transfers, inventory adjustments, and cycle counting.
• Manage the cycle counting process, including resources, process, instructions, count sheets, timing, and reconciliations, across logical and physical locations and across departmental rporting lines.
• Assist with preparation for and execution of audited physical inventory counts.
• Perform inventory transactions as required to support update of inventory related to Cycle Counting and periodic write-off of non-BOM items: Inter-location movement of inventory, Correct cost impact of supplier-assigned components
• Understand VERO’s PFEP (plan for every part) and the related impact on inventory of planned/executed changes to PFEP
• Understand the cost impact of material control transactions and related variables. Seek to identify and eliminate waste in material control processes.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with VERO policies and procedures, included but not limited to, Materials and Inventory Controls, Identification and Traceability, Production and Process Controls, and Product Handling, Storage, Preservation, and Distribution procedures. Furthermore, help to create visibility and awareness in the organization as it pertains to internal controls and traceability.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar inventory control position.
• Experience in the medical device industry including knowledge of FDA and ISO and other related industry regulations preferred
• NetSuite, RF Smart experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent data analytics and Excel abilities
• Strong organizational problem solving and communication skills.
• Possess comfort level with issuing constructive criticism and requiring accountability cross-departmentally and within all levels of the Company
