- Create mechanical designs and concepts for Verista products and complex custom automated equipment
- Manage prints, mechanical drawings and related documentation
- Interact with Verista vendors to obtain quotes, and/or specify components & assemblies that meet requirements of cost, quality, and delivery
- Manage the mechanical Bill of Materials
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues encountered during mechanical assembly or system functionality testing activities
- Understanding each client's/project's quality standards, cGMPs, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance of development and validation of mechanical systems
- Adherence to project schedule for all assigned activities
- Maintaining clear, detailed records of activities
- May support multiple projects scheduled simultaneously
- High- level capability to develop models, drawings, and renderings using Solidworks CAD software
- Capability of effectively communicating (written and orally) with project team members and management
- Capacity to make independent sound decisions and independently manage priorities
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with and tolerance for high levels of challenge and change
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
