Job description
Position: Software Engineer (Full-Stack)
Our company, Veriheal, is a telehealth platform that connects patients with doctors for medical cannabis consultations, and soon to be other areas of the wellness industry. We are based in Denver with staff located around the world, and are seeking a dedicated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team at a new office in the Uptown/City Park neighborhood. You will collaborate with other technical staff to interpret requirements and create innovative software solutions that meet the needs of our users and management teams. Responsibilities:
- Create, design and implement application software; ensuring that both backend and frontend systems operate cohesively with visual appeal to our customer base.
- Monitor system, application and performance logs
- Collaborate with other developers to learn and assist
- Support multiple projects throughout the various phases of the life cycle
Technical Qualifications and Skill Sets:
- 4 years experience in PHP, Python and MySql required
- Knowledge of Github, CodeIgnitor (Other MVC Frameworks), and backend screen design
- Strong Git (Atlassian framework) experience with branch management and troubleshooting
- Experience with IDEs, coding standards and code beautification.
- Experience with HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Responsive Design (Bootstrap)
- Experience with Wordpress APIs, JSON, and AJAX
- Experience coding for burn rate, reliability, security (hacker resistant)
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Available to work full-time during typical business hours
- Ability to self manage and research new solutions to emergent issues within the environment
- Ability to respond to emergencies outside of working hours if needed
- Organized, disciplined, determined & enjoyable to work with
Bonus Qualifications:
- VMWare experience include VDC, ESXi, HyperVisor variations
- Agile/scrum/sprint assistance and planning
- LDAP
Job Type: Full-time
Location: In-Office with WFH on Fridays
Salary: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
