Embark on a journey of impact and exploration by collaborating with The National Map. As a steward of geospatial data, you will contribute dynamic data metrics to visualize environmental trends vital to the safety of all Americans, as well as guide the prospects of decision makers, civil engineers, and civilians. The GIS Developer must have the ability to work in an AWS environment and will be responsible for software applications that align with internal business and product owner needs. You will also serve a critical part in ensuring the reliability and quality of software through testing activities, developing fixes, and standardizing quality assurance procedures. Requirements:

Collaborate with the agile team to create efficient and reliable GIS tools that empower data-driven solutions utilizing tools such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Server.
Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of critical geoprocessing services.
Ensure data integrity and efficient storage within our GIS databases.
Write scripts to automate data workflows and streamline processes utilizing Python and C#
Identify and resolve issues in GIS applications by performing unit testing
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software releases and maintain accurate documentation utilizing Jira
Creating code repositories and pipelines for maintaining a healthy development workflow utilizing Git and Gitlab
Provisioning cloud resources using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
Bachelor’s degree (related field)
5 years’ experience (related field)
