Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager

Job Intro: The PMO team is dedicated to enable the business to deliver successfully against its objectives following industry best practices. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: The PMO team is dedicated to deliver against the prioritized business objectives. We are looking for a self-starter who will work in a complex, fast-paced environment and have the opportunity to support cross-functional teams and manage program delivery across the VH enterprise. 

• Leads cross functional teams and stakeholders to document scope, objectives, requirements and success criteria to deliver complex software and data programs
• Ability to create project plans and understand critical path and dependencies
• Interfaces and partners with product managers, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver work using various program management methodologies
• Motivates the team to achieve delivery against tight deadlines, and monitors the program(s) progress 
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal and communication at all levels 
• Demonstrated experience using collaboration tools to provide feedback and knowledge sharing
• Experience developing new processes and working in fast growing, changing environments
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks as needed and is highly organized 
• Demonstrate analytical thinking with strong problem solving skills
• Experience delivering using multiple methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and determines best approach based on business and program needs 
• Develops plans to resolve escalations / issues raised by project teams and helps close out items in a timely manner
• Partners with Product and other areas to identify, discuss, prioritize and implement improvements around processes, tools, and reporting 
• Passion towards healthcare and improving patient outcomes

Basic Requirements: 

• A minimum of a BS degree. PMP certification, technical or healthcare degrees are favored
• 8 years of experience in project/program management
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work in a complex, matrixed and ambiguous environment
• Excellent problem-solver and willing to drive toward solutions when challenges arise 
• Highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks as needed 

Bonus Experience (optional)

• Experience with EHR healthcare data, practice operations, or clinical research 
• Experience with Tableau, Salesforce or Asana
