Velo Law is a multi-state Creditors’ Rights law firm, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are seeking a full time Post Judgement Garnishment Specialist to help with our consistently growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Garnishee and Court Inquiries.
• Handle account and action reviews.
• Edit, review, and prepare documents.
• Proofread documents for accuracy and prepare for final mailing.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of legal procedures.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Possesses the means to multi-task and function in a high volume, and deadline driven environment.
• Committed to learning the interworking of a very specialized field.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to communicate with co-workers at all levels in the company and a team player.
• Adept in Microsoft Office, (knowledge of JST and Call Tower a plus).
• Ability to communicate with Garnishee(s), Court(s), and/or other authorized or related parties- regarding status and handling of the Post Judgment action.

Education:

• High school or equivalent education.
