Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects. The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibility:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of contractors, subcontractors, and construction personnel. Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality control and safety standards on the construction site. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, and regulations. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in construction projects and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and any deviations from the project plan.
  • Client Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction projects.

What You Bring to The Table:

  • 5-7 years' experience performing field work in related industry.
  • Experience managing both union and non-union contractors.
  • Proven experience in managing various construction projects including low voltage physical layer, electrical, trenching, IT technologies, networking, wireless, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems, including security, access control, CCTV, audio visual and structured cabling.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
