Vector Technical is Hiring a Lead Quality Inspector Near Newbury, OH
Vector's partner in Newbury, OH is one of the leading production centers in northeast Ohio with capability of manufacturing precision components and assemblies using CNC turning, milling, multi-axis mill turning and other processes.
They are in need of a Lead Q uality Inspector to join their team!
1st Shift
$18 / hr.
Must be able to train at Chardon location until fully trained, then move to Newbury location.
Excellent opportunity for the candidate who is looking for a long-term position to grow with a company where advancement is possible.
- Complete in-process and final inspections on all work cells using various hand measuring tools.
- Set up miscellaneous gauging as needed for production use.
- Perform 1st piece Inspections as needed.
- Provide various auditing needs such as process auditing and ISO auditing.
- Help provide guidance and training as needed to production associates.
Experience Requirements :
- Minimum one Year QC Inspector experience
- Must be able to read blue prints.
- Proficient at using Comparators, Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gages, and Height Gages.
- Must be comfortable in an uncontrolled environment, as the shop floor can get hot in summer months.
