The ideal candidate is able to provide compassionate nursing care to our patients, has verbal and written communication skills to bond with clients and appropriately document medical records.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Communicating with clients regarding their pet's history, wellness care, and medication instructions
• Drawing Blood, Placing IV Catheters
• Processing lab samples for outside labs and running in house lab tests
• Radiography
• Administering vaccines, other injections, and subcutaneous fluids
• Filling Prescriptions
• Monitoring patients before and after surgery
• Take initiative and work independently
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and adapt to changing situations
• Routine housekeeping and maintenance in the hospital
